Friar Tuck’s Irish House

Designed in October 2016, the Friar Tuck's website serves an Irish restaurant and pub in the Wannanup area of Mandurah WA. The development of this website started off with the owner requesting for the topic “Eat, drink and be merry!” to be pursued throughout the website design. A colourful rich design was adopted on the backdrop of a beautiful Irish restaurant and pub, underpinned by a crispy clean layout and a warm feeling that resonated throughout the website. These properties were selected to create a warm welcoming feeling of trust and friendship to draw clientele to the website and to convert them into potential customers. The design prominently displays the clients’ establishment and services very professionally in a truly friendly Irish context.

The website is fully responsive across all types of devices and boasts a very sleek mobile version of the site. Prospective clients who browse the pages using smartphones and tablets will enjoy the same professional look and functionality of the desktop version. As the website content is updated, the mobile-optimised designs will automatically adjust the layout of the content to neatly display on any screen size with no extra effort required! Visitors with mobile phones can simply tap the phone number on the website to make a call. 

The integration of Facebook into this design was also taken to a new level by designing it to match the original website design style. This style change smoothly masks all indications of Facebook post text entries and blends it completely in with the rest of the website. Having this functionality in the website allows the client to easily post updates to the website by simply submitting new Facebook posts on his Facebook page.
